From Lightroom to Webshop ?

Hi everyone .. I am looking for the easiest route to load images onto my website, and webshop - can i set it up so that a folder / catalogue goes live to my site once it is exported?

looking for the fastest route to have hi and lo res images available to the clients - as i have min time between events and currently doing via whatsapp on laptop - means waiting for the export (3 different sizes, 2 of which need to be branded with different logos) ..

what i would like, card in, images selected, edited, exported to a folder that will sync to website as fast as the internet allows - in 3 seperate options ( 1 hi res - print, 2 low res - web use, 3 low res with logo - for socials)..

prepared to pay for the disc space, and also use this as a "cloud backup"

have a IT guy who is wdecent with the shop setup - but no the "from lightroom" side of things ....

please help / discuss alternative ideas / advise ??

I have the photo and the premier pro packages... not sure if one of the other applications may solve things here??

Hi Pauline,

I hear you, tight deadlines and multiple export versions can definitely feel like a juggling act. While Lightroom Classic doesn’t publish directly to a webshop, you can absolutely streamline this with a few steps:

  • Set up three custom export presets:

    • High-res for print

    • Low-res for web

    • Low-res with a watermark for socials

  • Point each preset to specific folders that sync with a cloud service like Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive. From there, your IT person can link those folders to your webshop so files go live as soon as they export.

  • For fast client previews, Lightroom Shared Albums or Adobe Portfolio are great options. Both let you share polished galleries without extra steps.

I hope this helps!
