Fujifilm Objektive: XF 56mm 1.2 kein Objektivprofil in Lightroom

Hallo,

Danke LG Eva

Now, just checking that Adobe did not magically get rid of the Built-In Lens Profile applied issue in lens corrections (for many mirrorless) I repeated my test, but using my X-T4 (keeping as spare). I previously noted that this issue was resolved for the X-T5, but was that camera specific or a IDEA finally acted upon.

Same lens, same test, one at f/16 one at f/1.2, but on the X-T4

The f/1.2 Comes back in develop/lens correction/ with Built-In Lens Profile applied. Be that Auto, Default, or Custom. As expected. Trying to force the issue by selecting Make Fujifilm, presents the same previous short list of incorrect lenses. As expected

Selecting the f/16 image, and if the Lens Correction setup is Default or Automatic, I get the Unable to locate a matching profile automatically, using custom leads to the wrong lens.

So in the older cameras, the Built-in Lens profile still is in effect. But for this lens, and oddity occurs for smaller aperture. Odd. As SeanMcCormack has stated or implied, perhaps built-in lens corrections are not occurring at smaller apertures for this lens?

It's a bit strange. By using other lenses, always the Built-Lens is automatically applies. I assume it isn't changeable, mybe the nex update in Lightoom???

Ok, I do have a copy of the Fujinon XF56mmF1.2R WR. And I just took two images in my X-T5. Imported into LrC v12.2. One imag at f/1.2, other at f/16.

For the f/16 Went into the Develop module, looked at the Lens Corrections, And LrC does not include that lens.

I notice a notification of:

"Unable to locate a matching profile automatically"

Trying to force the issue by selecting Fuji, fails (this lens not shown, a few others are, but not this one)

Next, the f/1.2 image. And dang, it behaves, I get the correct lens right off.

Very Very odd

It may be that Fuji don't believe it needs correction past a certain aperture?

Just going through a shoot with the X-T4 & 56mm and none have built in corrections. Some shots at f4, some at f2.0. Interestingly reviews say that distortion is very low on this lens-might be related.

yes, apart from the availability of the correction, i can't find any distortion or it's hardly to discover.

Generally saying, i' m very satisfy with this lens.

Common knowledge, lens profiles for many mirrorless cameras are not implemented in LrC, instead the inbuilt camera corrections are applied.  You will see in that panel, at the bottom "Built-in Lens Profile Applied"

Thanks for you answer. The interessting thing i found out is that the corrections are applied when the f-number is 1,2 to 2,8.

Up to a f-number of 2,8 no corrections are available.

I learned something new yesterday, and this leads me to ask:

What specific Fujifilm camera?

Turns out, for the X-T5, Adobe does not force the blasted built-in lens correction. So answers to your issue may very based on camera.
