Generative AI Remove - fix for Lightroom on MacOS Sequoia 15.1

I get a "Try this again, network failure" every time I use generative AI in the Remove tool.

** The fix is to relaunch the finder. **

This was a fix suggested to get AirDrop to work again. That fixed the AirDrop issue, and also fixes the "Use Generative AI" feature as well. Strange, but true.

Hope that helps anyone else having this problem

William

Curious. Do you have an anti-malware / anti-virus security package installed?

No, standard installation. I had no trouble using this feature before updating to Sequoia.

Strange indeed. I can see why relaunching FInder would fix Airdrop problems, since Finder is tightly integrated with Airdrop.

Are you located outside of the US by any chance?

There're a few reports of this every week in the Generative Remove feedback thread, mostly from outside the US.  At least some of these reports are caused by incorrectly operating firewalls and network filtering on the computer and network routers.  But I'll suggest your trick to see if it helps others.
