Getting an error while updating metadata

I began getting an error while updating my metadata. I was updating my archive folder and received the error – An internal Error has occurred. XMP setStructField threw an exception. – I then chose a “year” folder, and it worked. So, I tried another, and I ended up having to do two or three sections before finishing. Now I’m down to choosing three of four photos before getting this error.

I’ve reset my computer, cleared the cache. I’ve googled this error and didn’t find any results. Has anyone seen this?

By that do you mean a backup? Is that a backup via LrC? And as such compressed? Or just a copy?

And where is it stored?

And yep, just one other posting in this community on your problem (and not of much help)

and not much help via Google.

Those examples stated above as to let other members know proper use of search failed to help.

This is a folder of older photographs.

to answer your original question further –

No this is not a backup it is a different drive. It is just older photos. I didn’t want to use the same name folders on both drives. So drive D contains a folder named Photo Library and drive E contains a folder named Photo Archive. It could have been Library 2. Both drives are internal and are 1TB Samsung SSD 860 and are between 50 to 75% full. The second has a few more files than the first.
