Gmail Address book no longer syncing

Hi,

I had an app specific password setup for my gmail that allowed me to send pictures but also had my address book auto fill email addresses. It recently stopped working and though I have been able to get a new password and send emails again, the address book is still not syncing.

Does anyone know how to fix?
