Graphic artifacts and freezing

Liebe Community,

 

seit kurzem stürzt lightroom classic entweder ab (friert ein) oder es erscheinen blaue oder rote Fehlfarben. Aus meiner Sicht ist die Grafikarte in Ordnung, da andere grafiklastige Anwendungugen wie z.B. Photoshop, Capture one, Dxo oder auch Computerspiele einwandfrei ohne Fehler funktionieren.

Please post a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be obtained from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. Note that the System Info dialog has a Copy button that can be used make the process of copying the info to the forum simple and quick.

Sorry to hear you're dealing with these issues in Lightroom Classic. It sounds really frustrating, especially when everything else is working fine.

First thing I'd suggest is updating your graphics drivers. Even if other applications are running smoothly, Lightroom can sometimes be a bit finicky. Check to see if there's a new version for your AMD Radeon card.

Also, try turning off the GPU acceleration in Lightroom. You can find this in the Preferences under the Performance tab. Uncheck the "Use Graphics Processor" option and see if that helps with the freezing and graphical glitches.

Make sure Lightroom itself and your operating system are up to date. Sometimes these problems are fixed in new updates. If that doesn’t do the trick, you might want to reset Lightroom’s preferences. Just hold down Shift  + Alt (on Windows) or Shift + Option (on Mac) while starting Lightroom to reset the preferences.

Lastly, keep an eye on your system's CPU and RAM usage while running Lightroom. Sometimes, other programs running in the background can cause these issues.
