green edges on white flowers

I have some photos with a green edge on a white flower, that is not on the real flower, in lightroom.  How do i remove this. and what is it.

    Without seeing the photo it is difficult to judge.  It sounds like it might be Chromatic Aberration; this can be fixed in the Lens correction panel either by checking the remove chromatic aberration box or going to manual and using the eyedropper.

    Sounds like chromatic aberration.

    In Develop, check Remove chromatic aberration in the Profile tab of the Lens correction panel.

    If that doesn't help, please post a screenshot of the image.

    That was it. Once more problem with this new lens.....i can take it out in

    light room. But that's a hassell..... lens is going back...... thanks....

    If you have other reasons to return this lens, that's fine; however, FYI, all lenses have CA to some degree.  It shows up most predominately when you have a very light object against a dark background or visa-versa.  That is why LR has this CA removal feature.
