Green pictures in Develop mode.

After updating LR Classic to v14.0.1 all pictures are green in Develop module.

Library module works fine.

Disabling GPU acceleration solves the problem, but slows down the work considerably.

MacOs Sequoia 15.1 on Mac Pro 2019 (Intel CPU) with AMD Radeon RX 6800 GPU.

Never had this problem before.

Could be bug in Metal support?

Hope this will be solved in next update...

Quickly test whether there's a corrupt or incompatible display profile assigned to the display that LR doesn't like when the GPU is enabled:

It sounds like a bug with the Metal GPU support in the new update. Since disabling GPU acceleration works, it’s likely tied to the compatibility between Lightroom and your AMD Radeon RX 6800. Reporting this to Adobe support with your system details and sample might help them address it in the next update. Hopefully, a fix rolls out soon!

You are absolutely right - changing the color profile solved the problem.

In fact I created the color profile with a Calibrite. Display Pro HL, but the result was not good.

I calibrated using the Calibrite Profiler software.

Had to alter RGB values on the screen itself to make the image look reasonable...

The screen is the Samsung QN43QN90C Mini LED 42" TV I bought for work, following online recommendations.

Apparently this TV is supplied with a VA panel in this country (unlike in the US), so looks like it was not such a good choice.

Can't go back to a smaller screen, and there are no 42" computer monitors with decent IPS screen.

The only reasonable choice seems to be an OLED TV.

Can OLED be calibrated properly?

What can be the reason my calibration did not work well with my Samsung VA panel TV?

Is it even possible to calibrate a TV with VA panel properly?

I know, many question, but I am at loss here... 🤷🏻‍♂

Try changing the profiler to build a ICC version 2 (matrix) profile rather than a ICC version 4 profile. In the past, people have sometimes reported that version 4 profiles produced by some calibration software don't work with LR. I can't find any manual on the Calibrite site, so I don't know what the option might be called or where it is.
