H265 files not importing

I am using both the DJI P4P and Inspire 2 and in both cases I have the option to record in H265, vs H264).  This is a superior format but LR, which I use to organize, rename and keyword will not import them.

    H.265 is not yet supported in LR.

    I can't help you with the answer, but I wonder: are the files being copied to the import folder? Is LR just not able to play H.265 files?
