HDR merge

Question

When I filter images, e.g. through text, and I do HDR merging, after merging, the filtering turns off and I have to filter again each time. It's terribly irritating and slows down your work.

This is a FAQ. It is not a bug, but as designed. It is to avoid confusion when the filter would filter out the new DNG, for example because you filter on raw files. You might think that the merge didn't work at all. To stop the filter from being reset, click the little padlock icon in the upper right corner (in the filter bar in the Library grid) to close it.
