HDR Merge issue

After clicking on Merge on the preview window of HDR merge the task is getting completed but I am not seeing the final merged image and also it is not creating the stack of the selected image.

Lightroom Classic- 11.4.1

MacOS - Monterey 12.5 (Apple M1 Max)

Update -

I can see that the merge image appears under library folder but not under the collection. Can someone explain why ?

How was the Collection created? If it's an auto collection that relies on keywords, and the new HDR image doesn't have tag you won't see it there.

It seems there was some kind of glitch in Lightroom. I tried the merge with different set of pictures and after that both started reflecting in collection as well.
