Question

Help! LRc so slow on MacBook Pro since 13.3 update, unusable at this point

I hope someone can help because I feel like I've tried everything over the past week.  LRc has gotten to the point where it is unusable.  I have been working on the same job edits for over a week and it should have taken me 8 hours.  Every time I move a slider, I wait 2-5 seconds for it to take effect.  I've tried turning the GPU off with no luck.  Perhaps my computer just can't keep up with LRc anymore, but I see numerous posts about people with newer laptops having same issue.  ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what information is needed for someone to help evaluate this issue, but using a 2019 MacBook Pro.

I have actually rolled back to LR version 12.5. Anything newer is horrible. Develop mode does not "stick" when I move the photo to library mode. Everyone kept saying it's my monitor, until I rolled back to a previous LR version and BINGO. The problem did not occur.
