Question

Help me find out why some of my photos *are* syncing

I have a set of photos that are being synced to the cloud from Lightroom Classic, but I don’t know why. They don’t belong to any Collections that are marked to sync, yet they have the sync arrows on them, and I can see them on lightroom.adobe.com.

Is there a way to discover what could be causing them to sync? I don’t want to sync all my photos; only the ones I explicitly select.

An image does not have to be in a synced collection in order to sync. It could also (only) be in 'All Synced Photographs'. That means it will sync, and it means it is not in any album online (because albums are the online versions of synced collections). So find them in 'All Synced Photographs' and remove them from that collection.
