help? this is what I get downloading into Lightroom-help?????

    Welcome to the forum. Just so you are aware this is a user to user forum so that the replies that you will likely get here are from users like your self.

    Please provide some info about the operating system you are using and the actual version of Lightroom you are using.

    Describe in detail what you are doing e.g "downloading into Lightroom" ? do you mean importing image files into Lightroom. Is this problem something new? was Lightroom working properly previously.

    We need some info so that we can help.

    Just an initial guess, you are trying to import a RAW image file and the raw data is corrupt!

    Awaiting some additional comments.

    This is usually an indication of a hardware problem somewhere in the system. It could be a bad card, at bad cable if you are connecting your camera to the computer, at bad card reader, bad sector on the hard drive, etc. Have you experienced this problem previously?
