Holding SHIFT and Click not working as expected selecting

Hi!

I'm facing the following behaviour now for 3-4 days and can't find any reason or solution to this.

OS Windows 10 (latest updates)

Lightroom Classic (latest version/updates)

When choosing multiple labels/labelings in metadata filter, I usually clicked first to select, scrolled down, did hold down SHIFT and clicked on the labeling entry down to where should be selected. Same as for example for files in Windows.

That worked as expected the whole time, but since 3-4 days, holding SHIFT down to choose up to the clicked entry, it behaves as if holding STRG. Only the clicked entry is added to the selection, but not the entries between both chosen entries.

I checked keyboard is working fine, restarted PC and Lightroom several times, did reset Lightroom to defaults, but behaviour is still the same.

Does anyone face this as well or can even provide a solution or any further idea, how to solve this, as it is terribly slowing down.

I do have a catalogue with approx. 70.000 photos and choosing instead of every time for example 100 labelings to filter by, clicking every single labelling is soooo terrible. 😞

Bei der Auswahl mehrerer Bilder durch Klick und einige Bilder weiter mit Shift+Klick wird, wie in Windows auch, ordnungsgemäß von 1. Klick bis Shift+Klick ausgewählt.

Versuche ich das nun in den Metadaten bei den Beschriftungen, was bisher klappte, funktioniert das Ganze nur noch, als ob ich STRG+Klick nutze, sprich, es wird nicht vom 1. bis zum 2. Klick, mit Shift, ausgewählt, sondern nur noch die 1. Beschriftung und die 2. ausgewählte.

Habe nun Rechner mehrfach neu gestartet, die Lightroom-Voreinstellungen zurückgesetzt, Tastatur ist auch in Ordnung, klappt außerhalb Lightroom Classic einwandfrei und in anderen Bereichen in Lightroom auch, aber alles ohne Erfolg für die Metadaten-Auswahl. Klick + SHIFT ist bei den Beschriftungen wie Klick+STRG.

Hat das ggfs. noch jemand oder ne Idee/Lösung, wie das normale/übliche Verhalten wieder hergestellt werden kann?
