Question

How can I correct an ISO value without losing my edits?

I'm using the Xiaomi 15 Ultra (also the 14 Ultra has this issue), and I’ve noticed a bug where the correct ISO value is not being written to the DNG file (though it’s correctly stored in the JPG).

I prefer to have my metadata accurate, and it’s strange to see a very soft image showing an ISO of 3184 when it was actually taken at ISO 12800.

While I can correct the metadata with ExifTool, I need Lightroom to recognize it. I can use the "Read Metadata from File" option, but this causes me to lose my edits, which I’m not fond of.

Is there a practical solution to fix this for photos that have already been imported?

Have you looked at the 'Lens Taggger' or 'Capture Time to Exif' plugins for Lightroom Classic? They can change/add some Exif within LrC. I've not used either. So, can say if they include ISO
