Question

How can I delete aliases for a catalog I tried to trash incorrectly?

I created a new catalog, then decided to delete it before importing images. I made the mistake of dragging the .lrdata files to trash to delete rather than doing so within the catalog. Now I still show aliases of the .lrcat file, data, previews and helper. How do I get rid of them?

I'm lost by your description. If you deleted the catalog before importing images, there should be no .lrdata files. And even if there was such .lrdata files, you can't delete them within the catalog.

Now I still show aliases of the .lrcat file, data, previews and helper. How do I get rid of them?

This is also confusing. If these files exist, you should be able to delete them in your operating system.

Is it possible you are looking at .lrdata files from some other catalog, not the new catalog file you talked above?

You lost me too. You cannot delete these files within the catalog file (but perhaps you mean folder, not file). But why would you not be able to delete aliases? Maybe you can post a screenshot to illustrate what your problem.
