How can I set up to export lightroom photos in Grey Scale 8 bit? When asked to export only given RGB presets.

How can I set up to export Lghtroom photos in 8 bit grey scale? Under file settings in color space it only gives RGB  presets.

    Lightroom can only export in RGB.

    You will have to use a program like Photoshop (or possibly Photoshop Elements) to convert to greyscale.

    Make a virtual copy of the image in question, Make that VC B&W in the Develop module and do whatever other adjustment you want, Then Export it at whatever settings you like.

    Image will be in B&W (grey scale).

    Image will be in B&W (grey scale).

    Although the image will be B&W (desaturated), it will still be an RGB file, Lightroom cannot export greyscale files.

    It will need to be converted to greyscale in some other program.
