How do I change email address linked to catalog?

My computer crashed and since reinstalling lightroom, it has linked to an old email address/adobe account. My current subscription is with my newer email but when I open Lightroom, it wants me to PAY for a new subscription due to the mix up and now won't let me edit.

Simply log out from the Creative Cloud app, and then log in again with the correct credentials.

What version of Lightroom?

The issue is very different between old perpetual,Lr such as v6.14 and newer subscription Lightroom Classic such as version 11.5

As you call it Lightroom I suspect v6.14 or older. Either that or you meant to post in the Lightroom Ecosystem (Cloud Based) community.
