How do I fix this problem. Seriously need help!

Bought a new computer and immediately installed lightroom classic to edit photos for my business. Worked just fine. Then the next time I tried to use it, my compter had linked my old computer lightroom information and now I it will not allow me to import new photos to edit. I have tried uninstalling and then re-installing Lightroom. So frustrated and have spent hours on this and nothing is working. I need help! Please!
