how do i reload lightroom classic and what will i lose with the reload

my thumbnails are not loading.  I thought reloading lightroom classic would help

    Reinstalling is not going to fix the issue. (and if you did, you would not lose anything)

    Please provide a lot more details.
    Are you talking about thumbnails in the Import dialog, or in Library?
    A screenshot that shows the problem might also be useful.
    Also, please go to Help > System info in LrC, click the Copy button, and paste in a new reply.
