How do I transfer Adobe Lightroom Classic from a Intel MacBook Pro (2019) to a new MacBook Pro M5

Because of problems running LR CC with Tahoe etc I decided to changeover to a new MacBook Pro M5. Migrate the old Mac to the new will give deviations and is not advisable (mentioned in this forum).

Is the only way to copy all details from old LR CC to a harddrive and paste them into the new LR CC new MacBook Pro M5?
