Correct answer John Waller

That is your Mac operating system asking for your computer username and password - the one you use to login to your Mac - so that you give permission for the Adobe installer to install Lightroom Classic on your local hard drive.

Your password for using Lightroom Classic is whatever password you used when you logged into adobe.com with your e-mail address, so you could download the software.

That didn't work.  This is what comes up and it keeps saying my password is wrong, and I've tried all the passwords I have.

I would think that instead of entering your name and password, you need to enter your e-mail and password
