How to best export from Apple Photos on Mac to Lightroom Classic?

What's the best way to export photos from Apple Photos on a Mac (macOS 11.4) to Lightroom Classic (latest version)? I'm not concerned about losing edits. Many of them are screenshots from my iPhone originally. One of my goals is to be able to delete these off my iPhone to free up space. (I use Camera Roll on my iPhone, but not the Photos app for editing there or on my Mac.)

I've already checked for answers via Adobe Help for Lightroom and this forum, but didn't find any answers.
