How to delete a folder in LR 6 ?

I am  trying to delete a folder in LR 6 , the folder has a ? mark next to it's title, and or the thumbnails are "greyed out. I am on an iMac, and control / click does not produce a dialog box for deleting.

What is the solution ?

In previous LR editions there was a - button at the top of the list of folders . Right next to  + sign. You could highlight  a folder and then hit the - button to show a dialog box verifying you wish to delete the folder contents. And then delete.

This no longer seems to be there in LR 6.

How does one delete a folder when you are done editing ?

The '-' symbol should still be there. It's possible that your's preferences are corrupt. Try resetting them on restart

Mac OSPress and hold the Shift + Option + Delete keys.

WindowsPress and hold the Shift + Alt keys.

Right-click (or cntrl-click on a Mac) on the folder you wish to delete and choose "remove" from the context menu that comes up.

    Ian,

I think the '-' is gone. I can't see it in my copy of LR.
