Question

how to disconnect Photoshop from LRC

Some how my Photoshop got hooked up all the time with LRC. It drives me nuts having all pix I want to use go the PS when I rarely use it. How can I quickly disconnect the two yet also get to PS when I need it? Also, has anyone tried that Neural thing? Does it sharpen all photos?

Thanks

I am sure I don't understand your question.

Please describe in much more details what you are doing, what you are trying to achieve and what happens on which step.

Also, what you mention seems unrelated: ...hooked up PS ... neural thing ... sharpen ... ?!?

I assume "that neural thing" is a reference to the Neural Filters in PS, and in answer to that part of the OP's question I have tried it a couple of times (using the new Photo Restoration Beta) and it did significantly improve some scans of very old photographs.

Not sure I understand this question. You never have to take images into photoshop. They only go there if you explicitly request it. Most of my images never see Photoshop as it is simply not needed in general. What do you mean with neural thing? Do you mean the AI masking? That is not really related to sharpening.

Sorry, I don't understand the first question: how my Photoshop got hooked up all the time with LRC.

Can you explain step by step what you are doing and what you want to happen between Lightroom Classic and Photoshop?
