How to get GPS information into synched images to Lightroom Mobile on my phone?

Question

I just realized that the GPS info that is in my original image doesn't synchronize to the web. How can I can achieve this?

Alright, alright... here's the thing. There are two ways to get the image on the phone.

1. "Save copy on device": that's what I used and there's no GPS data saved this way.
2. "Export as..." + "Save image": if you're going that route GPS data gets saved if the settings are correct (include metadata).

In LrM on iOS, both "Export As...." and "Save copy to device" have their own independant export settings, so if you want the GPS data to be exported using either method, then each of the export settings needs to have the "Location Info" option enabled.

I understand the differences, but that is no excuse. The location data should always be sent by default. I know a privacy reason for not including it. LRm should show all of the EXIF data. Not showing it only confuses what is attached to the photo. I love the GPS data because I shoot all over the place, and it is nice to have, but not showing it is annoying. Please add the option to show it in the mobile app. The weird thing is that it shows up in the web version.
