Question

How to group RAW and CR3 photos together in Lightroom classic?

A relative newbie here!

I've imported my photos from my camera and had set it up so JPEGs went on one card and raw on the other.  I would like to keep both together so I don't have two of the same photos displayed.  I have gone into preferences and unchecked "Treat JPEG files next to raw files as separate photos" however it's not grouping them together.  Screenshot attached.   What am I missing?

Or

You could keep the RAW and the JPEG in different folders.

It doesn't group them in the way you're imagining. You could stack them using Photo>Stacking>Auto-Stack by time and setting it to the lowest amount in the Library Module.
