How to make breath visible (cold & outdoors)

Hi all,

I have a photo of my dog I need a bit of help with. Shot outside, cold winters day, those days where you can see your breath.

Ive done the basic editing on it - setting whites/blacks, adjusting wb, saturation, shadows etc. But I cant seem to get the breath as obvious as I'd like. I can see its there in the photo, and I shot in RAW, I just dont know how to get the LR settings to make it more apparent.

Help?

Thanks

Elaborating on suggestion try using the Adjustment Brush with the below settings. You may need to increase the brush 'Size' so that it's close to what's shown below. Start brushing in the middle of the visible breath area to establish it as the target. Keep brushing over the area until you achieve the desired size and density of the breath fog. Then adjust the 'Effect' settings for more control. Save these settings as an brush preset for future use. Cute dog!

First this looks like a Back Lit subject with blown highlights. The breath, which I can actually see, is part of that.

To highlite that you would need to use something like Photoshop.
