Are you printing this or are you exporting it to send to a lab? Either way if you are new to Lightroom and you want to print on a regular basis you'll find helpful tips here: Print photos from Lightroom

    ----

If you are exporting your files to send to an outside lab, you set the size in the export screen and choose to open in Photoshop when done to check the dimensions and resolution are as intended.

If you are printing it your self and you have chosen to crop it to 8x10, you will set up your print properties in the Print module:

To print photos from Lightroom, follow these basic steps:

    1. Select the photos you want to print.
    2. Choose the page size.
    3. Choose a template.
    4. Add or remove photos from the layout.
    5. 5. ( Optional) Customize the template.
    6. 6. ( Optional) Add text and other extras.
    7. Specify output settings.
    8. Check printer settings.

You crop to 8x10 aspect ratio in Lightroom, then you export by either

    • UNchecking "Resize to Fit" OR
    • checking "Resize to Fit" and then selecting the size in pixels for the long edge of the photo and entering ANY number under that and selecting pixels from the dropdown menu
