How to recovery photo editing from backup files

I've been using lightroom classic for many many years. But for the last couple of years I was using my phone most of the time. During the time my pc disks has been replace and file path of my digital photos has been changed. Last week when I tried to re-open the latest lightroom, i realized that the lightroom catalog file need to be upgraded to the latest version, and the photo collection folder is misaligned, and i have to remap to the latest filepath. However, although all the photo raw file is still there, I found that the editting i've done is gone.

I still have old backup file from prevous version in 2019 and before. Is that possible I recover my photo editing from there? the raw file is still there, i just need to match the editing I've done to those photos. I might have changed file path above those photo e.g., stack the different date folder into a yearly folder and change the disk of storing. But the filename itself has never been changed. Just wonder if is it still recoverable.

Thanks!

Your old raw files are NOT in the catalog. The catalog simply points to their location. The edits to the associated documents may be in the catalog but you still need the original raws. Where ever they may be.
