How to stop Lightroom from saving imported raw files to OneDrive

Question

Whenever I import raw files into Lightroom, all of them are saved under my OneDrive, clogging up my C drive space. Is it possible to change the path for these raw files to get saved to a hard drive? I cannot find any way to change it. Thank you!

If you are using Lightroom Classic, change the "Destination" folder in the Import dialog to specify a folder on a different drive.

If using the Lightroom Desktop app, in Lightroom's Preferences>Cache tab, at the bottom it specifies the current "Storage location for originals".....use the adjacent "Browse" button to choose a different folder on a different drive. Once you have changed that location, Lightroom should move the stored originals from the current location to the new location.

saved under my OneDrive,An additional point to make, that MS OneDrive is probably forcing an automatic sync of your catalog to OneDrive, if you bring up in LrC the system information (/help/system info/) you will probably see for the Library Path something like: C:\Users\myname\OneDrive\Pictures\Lightroom\MyCatalog.lrcat OneDrive can slow down LrC, OneDrive on a bad day can corrupt that catalog. IMO avoid mixing LrC with OneDrive. Consider either dissociating LrC catalogs with OneDrive (or the Pictures folder with OneDrive) OR create a top level folder named as you see fit (but not Pictures, Downloads, Desktop, Video) and move your catalog to it.
