How to transfer collections from a LR backup

I lost my catalog. But... I made a bac

kup. How to transfer my collections to the new (backup used) catalog?

Is there somebody who can help me?

    Not sure what you mean by "transfer your collections".

    To use the backup file, just COPY the backup ZIP  to the original folder the catalog was in, and unzip it.

    Then open the LrCat file from there.

    Thanks a lot for your kind support.

    This was not exactly the point. I lost also my Collections and didn't know

    how t replace all these pictures in the right collection map again. But in

    the meantime I received some info and help from Adobe.

    So I think my problem is solved.
