Question

I am trying to open a bug ticket but the site when it tells me to hit continue to provide more information I get a blank screen. I tried both Safar and Edge browsers.

I want to opem this as a bug but unlike posting a question when I am prompted to click continue to provide more details I get a blank page independent of what browser I am using. 

Here is my bug discrption. Can anyone help me create this as a bug?

 

Using latest version of Lightroom Classic on Mac running macOS Tahoe Version 26.6.2. The profile browser (in grid mode) displays only a subset of the profiles that are part of the profile. If I expand the width of the browser I can get to a point where all profiles of a profile group are displayed but the view is messed up. Generally, it will show 3 thumbnails in a row with the last one only partially visible. If I chose this third thumbnail the row is then moved all the way to the righty so much that I can no longer see many of the profile names. I did a reset preferences of LR but the problem persists.

    Hi,

    Any news for a solution? I have tried all the suggestions I found via search. Resetting the preferences. Restarting LR. Even restarting my computer. I even uninstalled and re-installed LR. Nothing works. The profile browser in Camera Raw works fine but I think it's a different implementation as in Camera Raw one cannot adjust the width, which is still better than my experience with LR.

    Hi, thanks for the additional information and the screenshots shared earlier. I tried reproducing the behavior with Lightroom Classic 15.6 on macOS 27.0.1, but I'm not seeing this behavior with the standard profiles that Lightroom Classic ships with. Could you check whether you're seeing this behavior across all profiles or only the ones you imported?

    Also, could you try updating macOS to the latest version to see if the behavior changes?

    I am seeing this across all profiles. The ones that came with LR and the many I imported. As I mentioned even though LR uses Camera Raw, the profile browser in Camera Raw has no issue displaying profiles at all.

    I am running the latest version of macOS on an M4 laptop.

    macOS Tahoe, version 26.6.2

    • A screenshot or a short screen recording showing the issue.

    • Did this issue start occurring after the recent update?

    Thank you for offering. I attached 4 screen shots. As an example a profile called +Cine_Cinematic_LUTs_II_(v1.1) as shows has 6 profiles. But:

    1- The screen in its default setting showing 2 thumbnails per row only shows 4 of the 6 profiles.

    2- The screen shot with me widening the profile browser (have to play around to see what works best) I can get to a point where all 6 profiles show up but they are 3 per row with the third (right most thumbnail clipped). If I want to use that profile I click on it the whole row shifts left and it is hard to get back to a view where I can see the whole profiles (the left side is now cut off).

    Please let me know if you need any other information.

    Note: I once by mistake was editing a tiff file instead of a raw file and it seemed in the case the profile browser worked ok.

    Note that this is not a conflict between the profile and the raw files I have. As shown I can get them to show up and apply them but through a corrupted display of profiles. In addition this is the same issue for all profiles I have installed. In its normal display it always cuts off the number of profiles at some different number (so it is not always cutting off last 2, if the profile group had 26 profiles it may display 18, etc.)
