The second last update I can't backup catalog saying I don't have enough storage which is strange moments before there was enough then update not enough, makes no sense. It looks like you are just throwing something out there.

Then the last update now I can't open Lrc it is useless now. I would wonder Adobe if you have a saboteur(s) because I in the last six months or so have more and more issues. What is really going on? I am a end user not a computer wisard as I am sure there is many like me. If we have to start messing about to keep LrC working that is on you Adobe it's your program.

1- 15.1.0.5

2- Winows 11

3- Try to open last update, update prior when trying to backup catalog it won't.

4- I exspect it to open and beable to backup

This problem has been reported here quite a few times. It is caused by catalog corruption. What you could try is this: Create a brand new catalog and choose 'File - Import from Another Catalog'. Select your old catalog to import. In the import dialog choose to import all photos, but do not move them. This will create an exact copy of your old catalog, but usually without the corruption. The only thing that won't come across is any publishing services you may have. You will have to recreate those. If you synced your catalog then you will have to enable sync for the new catalog. There are some reports that this could cause a problem. Here’s how to solve that: https://www.danhartfordphoto.com/blog/2025/1/lr026-fixing-sync-problems-caused-by-switching-the-sync-catalog

The thing is two days prior to the update I backedup the catalog it worked fine. Then after update a few moments later I opened used LrC 1/2 hour after closed LrC and did a backup and it did not work. Plus to mention sinse 2010 I have never had any catalog or backup issues. So this is very suspicious after a update LrC has a problem. If many have posted these problems it is not us it is Adobe messed something up.

Two days ago it worked, then there was a problem where you catalog may have been corrupted, and now it is likely corrupted and today it doesn't work. It has nothing to do with the update to LrC 15.1. Catalog corruption is almost always because of hardware malfunction; and as @JohanElzenga we get reports about this problem from time to time, and (although he didn't say this part) in fact these reports of exactly the problem you have go back years before LrC 15.1.
