I can't import anything in to Lightroom on version 15.4.1

I can’t import anything into Lightroom classic on version 15.4.1. On import the import box is not showing any photos at all. These are not duplicates photos.

When I go to import I select a source and then I choose the folder nothing shows.

I have tried restating Lightroom and my computer, trying different drives, nothing works.

Lightroom isn’t seeing any images on my computer/ drives.

@johnn26208684 Try this: select Copy at the top of the screen where it now says Add (yes, I see you want to Add but click on Copy anyway), then make sure the Destination Panel appears (right-click on File Handling and select Destination from the drop-down menu that appears) and then make sure the Destination chosen is a folder that actually exists. Then click back on ADD.

When I try to import anything window is completely blank and doesn't display any photos, regardless of which folder or external drive I select. The folders definitely contain supported image files and are accessible normally through Finder.

    I am on version 15.4.1

    I've done the following:

    • The problem occurs with every folder and every drive.
    • I've restarted Lightroom and my Mac multiple times.
    • I've tested a new Lightroom catalogue, but the problem remains.
    • I've given Lightroom Full Disk Access in macOS Privacy & Security.
    • Dragging a folder directly into Lightroom opens the same blank Import screen.
    • However, Library → Synchronise Folder works successfully and imports the images, so Lightroom can access and read the files.

So problem seems to be specifically with the Lightroom Import dialog/interface.

I don't really want to downgrade versions as I will lose my presets that I have done on this version.

Mac or PC? If Mac, check that Lightroom Classic has ‘full disk access’. See  Quick Tips: How to give Full Disk Access to Lightroom Classic on macOS

On Mac I have done this:

    • The problem occurs with every folder and every drive.
    • I've restarted Lightroom and my Mac multiple times.
    • I've tested a new Lightroom catalogue, but the problem remains.
    • I've given Lightroom Full Disk Access in macOS Privacy & Security.
    • Dragging a folder directly into Lightroom opens the same blank Import screen.

Please show us a screen capture of the ENTIRE Import dialog box when this happens.
