Thank you. Sounds like it’s time for a new computer. Is that correct?

I’m actually glad to find out it’s not me!

I was requested a screen capture of the Import dialog box, not the Library Module. We need the entire Import dialog box; do not chop off any part of the screen. Also please make it big enough so we can read the text. Please use the key combination Windows Key-Shift-S instead of your cell phone to make the screen capture.

Please be patient. I do not have many computer skills so I don’t always understand what you are asking for. Is this what you wanted?

According to the system info, your computer only has 8GB RAM, which is the minimum required. You really need 16GB or more.
    See https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/desktop/introduction-to-lightroom-classic/system-requirements.html

What’s worse is that your GPU is not supported.
LrC uses the GPU for a lot of tasks, and will not work properly without a supported GPU.
    See https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/desktop/technical-support/technical-issues/gpu-issues/lightroom-gpu-faq.html

You need to upgrade your computer, or get a new one.

In my opinion, neither 8GB memory nor unsupported GPU will affect the import step and cause it to fail.

In your software, please issue the menu command Help->System Info… and then copy and paste the results in your reply. Also please show us a screen capture of the problem as requested previously.

A lot more details are needed.

What software are you using? What is the version NUMBER? We need the version NUMBER and not words like “latest” or “up-to-date”.

What operating system are you using? What is the version NUMBER? We need the version NUMBER and not words like “latest” or “up-to-date”.

Can you show us a screen capture when you try to import? Please show us the entire Import dialog box with nothing chopped off.
