I have a Sony A7r3 and I would like to tether to my MacBook Pro. I keep failing ... HELP!

I would love to tether my camera to my macbook however i seem to keep hitting a brick wall. all the turorials online dont seem to help. I have a sony a7r3 and a macbook pro. Any help would be gratefully recieved.

The Sony A7R3 is not supported for tethering. Only the A7R4 and A7R5.

For un-supported cameras there may be a work-around you can use. Use a 3rd party way (Sony?) of syncing camera files to the computer and using Lr-Classic to Auto-Import the images. When setup the 'Import' will look seamless with photos appearing in LrC almost immediately.
