I just added my photos from an external hard drive to my LR classic catalog. Now LR classic will not open. All I get is the spinning color wheel.

Question

Recently I moved all my photos to one external hard drive.  I created a new LR classic catalog.  I added my photos (29,000) to my LR classic catalog.  All were added.  Now, when I try to open LR Classic all I get is the spinning color wheel.
