I keep getting the message "The files cannot be opened by Lightroom. (274)"

I can upload photos from my other Canon cameras but haven't had any luck with my new EOS M6. I keep getting the message  "The files cannot be opened by Lightroom. (274)"

My Lightroom version is 2015.7, Camera Raw 9.7. Can anyone shed a light, please?

You need to update Lightroom. Launch Creative cloud and go to the Apps tab. You should be able to install Lightroom Classic which is the current version.

    Both RAW and jpg cannot be uploaded.
