I Lose Colour Labelling After Lr Updates

Has anyone else experienced losing the colour labelling after Lr Updates?

This has been going on for years, but because it was more annoying than "mission" critical, I've been ignoring it.  It's finally reached the top of my Bug List.

Nonetheless, what's with that?  Please fix it, it's moved past annoying.

I'm pretty sure there is no bug, and the explanation is as follows: Most likely you edited the current color label set, like @AxelMatt suggested, but you forgot to save it as a new set. In that case an application update will restore that label set to the default, so you lose your custom labels.

Thanks Johan.  That was the missing piece of the puzzle.

I don't see this in all the years I've been working with Lightroom (since version 3.3).

Do you have create your own set(s) of color label assignments (ex. red=rejected, yellow=in progress, green=ready and so on) or do you use the default setting?

In this case you can reactivate you set in the Library view on menu Metadata - Color Label Set.
