I'm a new user and LR Classic won't recognize my Tamron E mount lens (it is supported per Adobe)

LR Classic does recognize my Sigma lens, but incorrectly assigns a different Tamron lens as the only option to correct for lens Chromatic aberation.

Sounds like you're editing a JPEG. Most lens profiles work with raws only, and there's just one Tamron lens profile that works with JPEGs.
