Question

I managed to desync my folders from lightroom classic and have lost all my edits in progress, and edits made ready for export. Is there a way to restore this?

How did you manage to “desync”- provide more details.

If you catalog shows folders and photos as ‘Missing’ because you moved or renamed photos outside of Lightroom-Classic then you need to restore the links between the catalog and photos.

    MISSING FILES AND FOLDERS-(Computer Darkroom)

If you created a new catalog with a fresh import and none of your previous edits, then you need to find the previous catalog (.LRCAT file) and open that. Go Menu > File > Open Recent..

Hi, thank for the reply, by desync I removed I was trying to sync the folders from recent imports into the correct sub folders as they were showing individually. In the process of trying to sort that out I removed all the folders on the catalog. I then reimported the folder I was working on and the edits I had made were no longer there.

But It sounds like loading the previous catalog will be the fix I'm looking for. Will confirm tomorrow

    Try your latest backup catalog.
