I updated Lightroom 2 days ago and now it won't open .

I can't open with the icon which now looks like a piece of paper rather than the normal icon nor through creative cloud.

the icon looks like a piece of paper

i can't get it to open from creative cloud either. 

I'm not able to screen shot. I don't have internet, I have to go to the library to do that and their internet is down today. I was going to uninstall and reinstall at the library today. So I'm still down with photos that need to be edited.

You'll need internet. You should then do an Uninstall and try reinstalling it again.
