Question

I use a Mac M5 Max with mac OS Tahoe 26.6 - lighroom cc keeps crashing within about 5-10 seconds of launching the application. What should i do? I have granted full disk access and tried disabling the graphics processor already.

You say “anything i do after 5 seconds of launching the program results me having to force quit”. Did you try to give the application just a little more time to fully finish the startup process, and to see if that solves the issue?

So, please clarify … there is no software named “lightroom cc”. There is either Lightroom (Lr icon) or Lightroom Classic (LrC icon). Which are you using?

Also, here at the forum, the design of the forum software is very poor. When you create a new thread, the first dialog box “Briefly describe your problem”, this is where you enter a title (although it doesn’t say “title”), 5-10 words at most. Then in the next dialog box you give the full explanation of the problem. We don’t need the exact same text twice. Thanks!

thanks. sorry this is the first time i m doing this (posting here/using this community) because i m desperate and cant find answers anywhere.

The title should be: Lightroom Classic crashing continuously.

I’m using LrC and I’m not able use the software because anything i do after 5 seconds of launching the program results me having to force quit.
