I want a closed padlock

I always keep the crop padlock closed. On this one rare occasion, I opened it, and now it's open every time I go into Crop mode. How can I get back to my preferred way, which is to have the Padlock always default to being closed every time I go into Crop mode? At the moment, I have to close it every time I go into Crop, which is annoying.

Thanks.

The lock stays open if you open it before you make any changes to the initial crop. That is also how you can permanently close it again, so go to an uncropped image, just select the crop tool but do not make any changes to the crop and close the lock. It stays closed for the next image if you first make a small change to the crop and then unlock it.

That's not working for me, but I'm not quite tracking. I go into Crop mode. Padlock is unlocked. Could you please take me from there?

Select and uncropped image. Go into crop mode and close the lock. Leave the crop mode again. That should do it.
