If a corrupt catalog won't repair, is there anything i can do about it?

I have a corrupt Lightroom catalog, when i try to open it the repair dialog box appears but dissapears after a few seconds and the catalog doesn't open. Is there anything I can do to recover or should i just start from scratch? (I don't have any backups)

No backups? You will have to start from scratch. (And be sure to make regular and automated backups from now on)

If you were saving the metadata and edits to XMP, then you shouldn’t lose that metadata.
