iMac auto syncing photos taken on iPhone to LR CC

Recently purchased a new iMac and now all the photos I've taken on my phone are syncing into Lightroom. I didn't have this issue before, I have had the app on my phone for a year now with no issues. is there something I can turn off on the desktop Lightroom that will stop this from happening?

Autosync is turned off on iPhone app.

From what you write, I think this probably has nothing to do with your desktop machine or any setting there. It sounds like all images on your phone's photoroll (i.e. all images taken with the phone's camera) are getting uploaded and downloaded into Lightroom on your desktop? You need to go into the lightroom CC app on your phone and go into its preferences. You can see those if you go all the way back to the top screen that shows all the albums. Tap on the LR icon and go into general. Turn OFF "auto add photos" and "auto add videos".

If it continues loading in photos from your phone's photo roll, you need to delete the Lightroom CC app from your phone and reinstall it from Google Play or the App Store. For some reason if you have enabled this once, it will start uploading all your images from your photo roll on your phone and you can't stop it without deleting the app. Anything already manually uploaded into the CC cloud, you might need to manually delete from Lightroom CC on your phone or by going to http://lightroom.adobe.com

Yeah in the Identity plate, where it says Lightroom, hover the mouse point over it and a triangle will appear to the right. Click that and Pause Sync.
