Image is darkened when exporting from Lightroom Classic to Epson Print Layout

I'm on Mac...trying to use export dialogue (export to another application) in LIghtroom Classic.

In Photoshop the "plug-in" is more official and it works fine, i.e. the image from Photoshop is rendered faithfully in Epson Print Layout.

In LIghtroom Classic it is substantially darker.

Is there a switch or an option I might be missing?
