Image not saving to LRC

I have been opening various images from LRC into photoshop 2024 (Beta) for the last few weeks and I have closed the image and it saves it to LRC. Today, the image did not save to LRC but saved it to my hard drive. The only difference in the process is that I had to fix the face detection error when photoshop opened. What could be the trouble?
